Save the Date: Rally Sunday is September 7, 2025, immediately following Worship. Our annual fall kick-off is back! As school and work schedules return, it’s a good time to reconnect with Calvary’s activities and service opportunities. Christian Education, mission projects, fellowship groups, and other committees will have information tables set up in Fellowship Hall to highlight what’s going on at Calvary and spark your curiosity and interest. The graveside for Dick Powell will be at Olivewood at 11:30 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2025. A Memorial Reception will be held at Calvary following the graveside from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Dick Powell, husband of Shirley, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2025. He was 88. Shirley and Dick had been married nearly 65 years and members since 1963.All are welcome to attend both graveside and reception. Deacons Summer Salad Sundays features our third and final Summer Salad Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. Deacons will prepare and provide three different types of salads: a basic green garden salad with dressing, a carb salad (i.e. pasta, Mexican corn, 3-bean, potato, etc.), and a fruit salad.
