You are invited to join us for worship at 9:00 am and 10:30 am every Sunday.
Worship of God is the central act of the people of God. In worship we acknowledge that our lives are gifts from God and that God redeems, renews, guides and sustains us. "There is nothing in this world that can separate us from the love of God in Jesus Christ our Lord."
Our New Contemporary worship service – while all are welcome -- is geared to appeal to the twenty-something to forty-something crowd. It is called “OURSPACE”, is held in Fellowship Hall, and, is a place to connect with others and find hope for your life. It is relaxed in attitude, informal by design with seating at round tables stocked with mugs and hot coffee. The music and praise songs are contemporary in nature reflecting updated versions of doctrines of the faith. Sermons are preached with everyday applications for your life. And, multi-media images are projected on to a screen to help you connect at a heart level.
Our traditional worship services are generally liturgical and more formal in style, with wonderful hymns of the faith and occasional use of images on a screen and contemporary music.
Some of the year the worship is centered on an current issue or a series of themes related to our everyday experiences. Much of the year, traditional worship services are built around the common Lectionary to keep us always based in Scripture. We include scriptures read, hymns sung, the gospel proclaimed, prayers of confession, intercession and thanksgiving prayed, and the opportunity given to respond with the offering of our lives and resources back to God.
Our worship services are outlined in a written bulletin that is easy to follow for a visitor or newcomer to the church. There are headsets for those who have difficulty hearing and large print bulletins that are more easily read. Activity bags are provided for children, and nursery care is provided for children age 3 or under. We welcome family participation in our services.

The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper (Communion) is celebrated the first Sunday of each month during Worship service. "The invitation to the Lord's Supper is extended to all who have been baptized, remembering that access to the Table is not a right conferred upon the worthy, but a privilege given to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance and love." (Book of Order W-24011) All present at the worship service are welcomed to take communion. |
The Sacrament of Baptism is available to those who profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and wish to unite with the Church. Baptism is also offered to regularly attending members who wish to have their children baptized.
