Memorial Services at Calvary express our witness to the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the promise to each of us from our Lord. Services are provided for members and friends of Calvary at no charge. Our Deacons assist as ushers and with the arrangements on the day of the service. They can also provide assistance for a reception following the service.
Funerals, when the casket is present, have become increasingly rare in the church, as the focus of the worship service is upon the hope of the promised resurrection. By request of the member's family, we do still conduct a funeral upon occasion.
Calvary has also made its Sanctuary available to other churches, and organizations, for memorial services when such a large space was required. In these circumstances the service will reflect our Christian hope, and Calvary's Head of Staff will be in charge.
The Pastors of Calvary are also available to conduct services at local Funeral Homes / Mortuaries and also at the cemetery graveside, depending upon scheduling.
