Calvary's outstanding music program is the result of the involvement of a wide variety of people of all ages and skills. Our musicians fill the sanctuary with praise, add spice to fellowship events, educate our young in music, and provide an outlet for those who love to worship God through song.
The Chancel Choir, directed by Jonathan Osbrink, leads worship at the Sunday service and at other special occasions and services. Our talented and versatile choir sings a wide range of musical styles, from traditional choral masterpieces to world music from non-Western cultures.
Members and friends of Calvary are invited to join. Older youth are also invited to join. Rehearsals are Thursdays from 7:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. in the choir room. Find the choir room by driving through the parking lot, to the back side, lower level of the sanctuary and enter through the metal gate. The choir does not rehearse during the summer.
Our talented organist, Dr. Beverly Howard, shares her gifts with us when she plays our exquisite pipe organ each Sunday and at special events during the year. She also accompanies the choir when the organ is used. Barbara Mease accompanies the choir on the piano.
